Why trust us…

Hi, we’re Alice and Andrew! We’ve seen the Northern Lights many times – but we’ve also made every beginner mistake you can imagine!

On our first Northern Lights encounter, we were overwhelmed and completely confused by forecasts. Our photos were either blurry, grainy, or way too dark because we didn’t know what settings we needed.

But after years of chasing the aurora, we’ve learned exactly what works – and what doesn’t. We’ve refined our technique, and figured our how to capture the lights with confidence!

We created this guide because we never want anyone to feel as lost as we did on that first trip. It’s the guide we wish we had back then – and the one we’re proud to share with you now!

A couple stands on a snowy road at night, surrounded by a dense forest, as the vibrant green Northern Lights dance across the sky above them. The woman wears a yellow winter jacket, a beanie, and warm boots, while the man is dressed in dark outdoor clothing. Both are smiling, enjoying the breathtaking Arctic scenery.
